Sex education book for 6-year-olds

19th September 2008

A sex education booklet aimed at six-year-olds has been published by the FPA.

The sexual health charity, formerly the Family Planning Association, said the 12-page booklet called Let’s Grow with Nisha and Joe, would be available for all UK schools to buy. Topics covered in the booklet naming parts of the body, the importance of family and friends and how to keep safe. But Family and Youth Concern said it was up to parents and carers to teach sex education to children.
