Sir David Nicholson to face questions over CSC deal

26th February 2013

The House of Commons' Public Accounts Committee is to question NHS chief executive Sir David Nicholson about the deal between the Department of Health and CSC.

The inquiry is to be held on 18 March, EHealth Insider reports. EHI said a spokesman from the PAC informed them in January that "the committee has been receiving correspondence on the matter" and will question Sir David in March. They revealed in 2012 that the first ten trusts which sign up for CSC's Lorenzo electronic public records system before the end of March would be given a bonus of £1 million for expenses.
