17th December 2007

BT has successfully installed Picis theatre systems to six hospital trusts as part of the National Programme for IT.

The Picis system has been designed to give trusts surgical scheduling information, allow them to monitor patients and review documentation.

BT has delivered the system to the six trusts, which are all located in London. They are: the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust, St Mary’s NHS Trust, Kingston Hospital NHS Trust, Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust, Barking, Havering and Redbridge Hospitals NHS Trust and the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust.
