Smart phone app launched at hospital

30th August 2012

St George’s Healthcare Trust has launched a new smart phone app for patients and visitors.

It will provide up-to-date welcome information for patients, outpatients and visitors, which will include contact details for wards and outpatient clinics, plus the latest trust news. It also has a scalable map of the hospital, with wards, shops and other amenities listed and there are plans to install a feedback mechanism as part of the initiative, which comes after patients told the trust that they wanted more information available to them on their phones.
