SNP's health failure

A leading doctor has criticised the SNP Scottish Executive for failing to deliver Scottish solutions to Scottish health problems.

Speaking to the Scottish LMC conference in Clydebank, GPC Scotland chairman Dr Dean Marshall also criticised the Scottish Executive for following Westminster’s line on extended hours. He said it was a policy designed to fit the needs of south-east England and not Scotland and that the SNP “lacked the confidence or will to extract itself from the political agenda which is driving health policy in England.?
