Social care charges hit elderly

The Health Service Journal reports that nearly one third of elderly people who are using social care have stated that charges are increasing.

This means that they have been "forced to cut back on essential spending related to their health condition or disability". The information was generated by a study carried out by a group of charities who are campaigning against social care charges.
