South Manchester selects Imprivata

15th August 2008

The University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust has chosen Imprivata OneSign for single sign-on.

It will see about 4,500 staff eventually given access to the OneSign Platform in a move the trust says will speed up access to patient information and provide full audit reporting. Previously, each user would have to log out completely in order for the next one to start their session, which could take several minutes to complete. The platform is currently being used by radiologists.
