Special Measures Lifted
19th May 2006Ministers have lifted special measures imposed on the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust in December, after the Healthcare Commission said it was now satisfied that the trust had made good progress on implementing its recommendations. The measures were introduced when a Commission investigation into gastroenterology services at the trust uncovered poor management and lack of medical leadership.
