Stress key to many conditions

Experts have warned that stress can lead to a range of unwanted health problems.

Ann McCracken, vice chair of the International Stress Management Association, warned that while some people thrive on the “buzz? of pressure, extended periods of pressure can cause harmful stress if it becomes too great and that can lead to ill health. She said that can be anything from strokes, heart disease and high blood pressure through to digestive problems and skin conditions, particularly eczema, rashes of unknown cause, psoriasis.
