Strictly Come Dancing workout launched

21st October 2008
The National Osteoporosis Society (NOS) has developed a dance workout which aims to help people to keep their bones healthy.

The "Boogie for Your Bones" workout was developed with the aid of two Strictly Come Dancing judges, a fitness expert and Dr Miriam Stoppard. Dr Stoppard said: "Bone is a living tissue and needs to be exercised just like a muscle. There is nothing more beneficial to do than dancing; it is a whole body exercise where all your joints, muscles and bones get a really good work out."
