Surgery with theatre opens

31st March 2006

A  new 1.7m medical centre has opened at Calne in Wiltshire. Beaversbrook Medical Centre was funded through the Private Finance Initiative. The new centre has wheelchair access and an operating theatre.

It replaces the Church Street Surgery, which local GPs said was too small to allow services to be expanded.
