Surrey to stick with Cerner Millennium

29th May 2012

The Cerner Millennium electronic patient record system is likely stay in use by Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust after the contract finishes in 2015.

The trust made the system live in 2007 and it is one of the first trusts to declare that it wishes to remain with the provider once the contracts expire. According to minutes taken at a board meeting, the trust accepted a licence from Cerner and committed "to staying with Cerner Millennium for the foreseeable future".
