Swine flu death reassurance

Sir Liam Donaldson, England's chief medical officer, has said that despite a recent death from swine flu in a healthy adult, people should not panic.

Sir Liam said most people would only have mild symptoms if they were infected. "When it has produced severe illness it's tended to be people with underlying health problems, in this case it was in a previously healthy adult and we've seen from other cases around the world that uncommonly this does occur."
