Tell smokers age of lungs

A UK study has demonstrated that smokers are "more likely" to give up cigarettes if they are told how old their lungs are.

Gary Parkes, a GP in Hertfordshire, headed up the research, which was published in the British Medical Journal. "Telling smokers their lung age significantly improves the likelihood of them quitting smoking," he wrote.
