Tesco slim shake criticised

20th May 2010

Tesco has apologised to its customers after a labelling blunder on a diet shake.

It has emerged that the supermarket giant had known for two months that the shake had been labelled incorrectly and in reality, contained 50% more calories than stated on the box but had failed to take the strawberry-flavoured shake off the shelves. Tesco's Ultra Slim has been slammed by the TV programme Watchdog after it was found to contain 75 calories more per serving than advertised on the product.
