The 20 foods you should eat for a long and active life

A professor at Leeds University has marked out 20 foods which he believes benefit health and should be added to people's everyday diet.

Professor Gary Williamson said as many of the foods - including apples, red grapes, green tea, chocolate, coffee and red onions - should be eaten as much as possible: "these foods have been chosen because they are highest in polyphenols, which reduce the risk of heart disease and help to slow down ageing processes."
