Top flight Academic Health Science Centres named

The Health Secretary has named the five academic health science centres in England, three of which are located in London.

They are: Cambridge University Health Partners, Imperial AHSC, King's Health Partners, Manchester AHSC and UCL Partners.

Mr Johnson said: "I congratulate the successful candidates, who have demonstrated their enthusiasm and commitment to the vision of bringing together world class research, teaching and patient care to improve health in local communities as well as internationally through their global reach."
