TPP launch ResearchOne

A new healthcare research database which could hold up to 20 million patient records has been launched by TPP.

The organisation unveiled ResearchOne at the recent National User Group conference in London with the GP research database meaning that anonymised patient records could be used for research to improve patient care. ResearchOne could hold a range of clinical data such as diagnoses, medication, vaccinations and lab results with practices given the option to opt their records into ResearchOne and be accessed by researchers who have national research ethics committee approval.
