Trust website hacked

31st August 2012

The website for the South London Healthcare NHS Trust has been taken down after it was hacked into this week.

The trust has launched an investigation after it became aware of the problem when the word “hacked” appeared in red above a message written in Arabic with a sword on a black background. However, it said security of the trust’s IT systems had not been compromised and it understands the group responsible appears to target websites at random and there is no reason why the trust site was targeted.
