Trusts to invest in EPR

According to a survey by eHealth Insider, 25% of health service trusts intend to invest in electronic patient record systems.

The information, which came from 120 NHS IT directors, managers and users, showed that although the National Programme for Information Technology was winding down, a significant number of trusts were planning to spend money on IT. The annual survey also showed a fifth of trusts wanted to run their own procurements.
