UK keen on fast food

2nd January 2008

A survey has revealed that the UK is the country most attached to fast food and closely followed by the United States.

Some 9,000 people were polled across 13 nations in a study that found attitudes towards food and weight differed significantly. The UK and the US had the most respondents who said they would be unable to give up fast food. About 45% in the UK agreed with the statement “I like the taste of fast food too much to give it up?, while 44% of Americans said they felt the same.
