Avastin is a cancer drug manufactured by Genentech, a part of Roche Pharmaceuticals. The Food and Drug Administration approval for Avastin was conditional. The Food and Drug Administration allowed it to be used only pending certain studies. Now that those studies have been finished, the approval has been taken away.
