Warning over scam healers

20th April 2009

Police have cautioned people to be aware of scams where fake spiritual leaders try to extract large sums of money from people.

Mustafa Malik, spokesperson for the Islamic centre in Leicester said: "As soon as someone tries to make profit, you can be 100% guaranteed that it is a fraud."
