Welsh health reconfiguration vote

Plaid Cymru has gained the Welsh Assembly’s support that no reconfiguration of hospital services will take place without adequately planned community provision.

There had been widespread opposition following proposals from local health boards across Wales to cut hospital services, but with little detail on alternative health service provision.
