When do new mums need the most help?

2nd November 2009

A survey by the NHS has found that many new mothers have questions about their babies' development 21 weeks after giving birth.

The research also found that 60% said visitors came to see them less frequently, while around a third said they did not have any time for themselves. Around half said their partner was less available to help them. The survey was carried out as part of the NHS Baby LifeCheck, which is a questionnaire designed to help new parents.
