Where are all the NHS bloggers?

10th April 2006

In trying to fulfil our promise of bringing you the best healthcare blogs from around the world - and only the best - I've immediately hit a problem. There aren't any. Well that's not strictly true; I've been scouring the internet and found over 200 healthcare blogs - but they are mostly American, technical and not the sort of thing we were really looking for.

Where are the blogs dealing with daily life in the health service? Are NHS staff so stretched that not even half a dozen out of the entire workforce of 1.6m (and falling fast) have time to blog?

Which reminds me, we are looking to expand our own blogging team so if you're interested, please get in touch. Click on the hc2d Blog Team menu item for more information.

Meanwhile, I'll get back to scouring the web for some decent blogs and see if I can make our current list a bit longer...
