Wii for care home residents

Ninentdo Wii consoles have been given to elderly people, to help them stay physically and mentally alert, at a care home in Pontardawe, Wales.

The Dan Y Bryn home was given the games by Neath Port Talbot Council. Council leader Derek Vaughan said: "As well as caring for their physical needs, we encourage residents to join in activities designed to help them keep mobile, mentally alert, self confident and socially interactive."
