Will ectopic test save fertility?

UK researchers are working on a test related to ectopic pregnancies which may help to preserve fertility.

A team at Queen's Hospital in Essex are developing the test, which will allow a quick diagnosis of the condition.  If an ectopic pregnancy is diagnosed early in pregnancy, it can be treated without the need for emergency surgery, which can mean the removal of the fallopian tubes.
