Winter vomiting bug closes wards

The chairman of the Royal College of GPs has said people affected by the norovirus bug should stay at home.

Professor Steve Field said: "If people heed the advice then we can minimise the number of people who will get it." The bug has closed hospital wards as the health service tries to contain the virus.
