Women ignoring deadly symptoms

29th February 2016

Women fail to go to see their doctor with potentially life-threatening symptoms because they say they are too busy with work or family.

According to research, more than a quarter of women said they prioritised work over making an appointment with the doctor and more than a third said looking after their family came first.

A further 14% said spending time with their partner was more important than seeking medical help.
