If you or someone you know has a sight problem, we can help. Our Helpline (telephone 0845 766 9999) offers an immediate, expert and confidential service. Many of our Helpline staff have sight problems themselves. They are trained to listen and to give reassurance and advice. Our staff can: put you in touch with specialist advice services give you details of support groups and services in your area. We can also provide you with free information on: eye conditions making the most of your remaining vision - magnifiers, lighting registering as blind or partially sighted benefits and your rights living with sight loss The Helpline is open Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm. On Wednesdays it is open from 9.00am - 4.00pm. Messages can be left on our answerphone outside these hours. Interpreters can be arranged for most languages. All calls are treated in
