Osbornes traces its roots back to 1935 when Charles Osborne founded the practice in Coventry. The firm rapidly expanded and was joined by the founder’s son, Gerald in the early 50’s together with Brian West and John Mason as partners.
Tony Clewett joined the firm in 1992 when it became Osborne Clewett Partnership and Craig Colledge became a partner in 1994 as the last of the ‘original’ partners, Gerald, retired.
Paul Angus left the other major Coventry practice of Wilson Large and Partners to form his own firm, The Angus Partnership in 1992. Paul rapidly established himself and was later joined by Debra Suffolk.
Both practices have thrived, covering all areas of construction work with The Angus Eliot Partnership providing specialised services for the Health sector and Osborne Clewett Colledge concentrating on the Education Sector.
The merger of the two practices to form Osbornes in April 2006 establishes a Company of substantial credentials and a wealth of experience which can offer its clients the full array of professional construction procurement services and advice with strong financial and human resources.
